Я как и все учила английский сначала в школе, потом в университете, но он всегда оставался на начальном уровне, не было никакого интереса. Потом по работе я начала немного практиковать письмо, но говорение, аудирование и произношение хромали. В EIS я пришла по рекомендации подружки, решила тоже попробовать пробную неделю, и она мне настолько зашла, что я даже не ожидала. На самом деле мне понравилось все. Мне понравилась Анастасия, ее невероятная энергетика, глядя на нее, действительно хочется всегда улыбаться. По содержанию уроки всегда разнообразные: они покрывают различные темы. Всегда есть что-то на грамматику произношение, новые слова. Слушаем речь носителей языка, учимся ее понимать, правильно писать. В общем, учишь очень много всего, уделяя по 15-25 минут. Тут все зависит от личной скорости каждого, но думаю результат будет у каждого заметен. В первую неделю была просто в эйфории, каждый день прям с большим желанием приступала к занятиям, мне было это очень интересно. Дальше эйфория немножко прошла, но я с по-прежнему с удовольствием занимаюсь каждый день, несмотря ни на что. Иногда нахожу время уже глубокой ночью. Я очень довольна и хочу сказать большое спасибо всем, кто участвует в этом интересном проекте. Отдельно спасибо преподавателям, тем, кто проверяет наши домашние задания. Это огромный труд. Очень приятно слышать от них положительный фидбэк. Я рада, что у меня есть довольно большой прогресс. Все что знала, очень быстро вспомнилось. Мне нравится заниматься английским языком в таком формате. Желаю всем удачи. Если вы сомневаетесь, возьмите пробную неделю, попробуйте, и тогда, я думаю, сомнений у вас точно не останется.
I had been subscribed to Anastasia for a very long time, but I still couldn't make up my mind. But then after taking the first trial week, I realised that it's a very cool format. So far, it takes me about an hour a day to do it (not 20 minutes like most people, but my English doesn't so good yet ), but every day I do it with pleasure. It's about the art of small regular steps. It's about a routine that sustains because each class is very different, it's exciting, it's not boring. A quest that also brings very good English skills. I'm not embarrassed anymore to listen to my voice messages that I wrote down to the teachers in the first weeks. I can understand a lot more words by listening and the vocabulary has improved. Cool format thank you, Anastasia, very much.
Я начала учить английский с EIS много лет назад. У меня был запрос на какой-то новый метод, потому что ни учебники, ни работа в группе, ни работа с индивидуальными преподавателями мне не подходили. Всегда наступал момент скуки. Но вдруг мне попалась Настя. Это было еще в самом начале English in Stories. Мне было интересно смотреть, как он эволюционировал и вырос в совершенно невероятный проект. Мне нравятся потрясающие способности Насти создавать живой английский — тот, который нужен каждый день. Я знаю, о чем говорю, потому что в течение того, как я училась в EIS, я 5 раз сдавала IELTS, и в итоге сдала на общий балл «восьмерку» и поступила на PHD программу в австралийский университет. Сейчас для меня английский — это то, что мне приходится исследовать и учить до сих пор. Каждый мой день я пишу, читаю на английском и живу на английском. И продолжаю заниматься у Насти, потому что это остается лучшим для меня способом. Маленькие усилия каждый день, но достаточно ощутимый эффект, который не сравнится ни с какими индивидуальными тренировками. Очень рекомендую вам попробовать пробную неделю. За несколько недель вы поймете, сколько доброты, пользы вложено в это в этот способ изучения. Он идеально подходит, если хотите жить в англоязычной стране, бегло говорить на английском, путешествовать, что-то изучать на новом языке. Удачи.

If your level is below A2, you can still get a trial week, but it may be difficult. EIS is not suitable for students who have never studied English. Our lessons do not cover basic grammar.
But if you studied English a long time ago, for example, at school, EIS will help you remember everything and take your English to the next level.
However, we don’t want to discourage anyone! We have students who start when they are at A1, learn basic grammar on their own, then practice with us and get great results

On average our students spend 20 minutes a day watching stories and doing their homework. This may take more time at first. The longer you study, the faster you get at completing all the tasks. You can choose how much time you would like to spend doing English in Stories today
We cover all kinds of topics so that you can have any conversation in English confidently. Food, taxes, travel, sex, music, cursing, you name it. We select all topics only a week in advance, so we focus on what’s happening in the world right now

You don't have one teacher assigned to you; you will be able to talk to a new person every day and practise listening to different accents of English so you can understand absolutely anyone

Many of our students feel a bit shy at first. Your speaking task can be just one sentence if you are just starting out with us or even a text message. But we always encourage you to give voice messages a go!

Absolutely! It's just taught very differently from when we all studied it at school. The grammar taught in EIS is the kind of grammar that will help you call a hotline and tell them that the ATM has swallowed your card, recommend a great restaurant to a friend or tell your colleagues about your vacation. We make sure that all the grammar structures get real-life connections in your memory.
The main focus of EIS is conversational English, which we hear and use in everyday life.
This is the biggest motivation not to put off your studies until tomorrow.
Being unsure about new things is totally fine. But remember: no one had tried this way of learning until we showcased it to the world in 2019. We started off with just 3 students in our first sprint and now we have over 1,000 students each week. So don't be afraid to try new things, for all we know you might fall in love with them
